The Account Registration Accelerator streamlines event management for Administrators by offering a user-friendly interface for End-Users to create accounts. This platform includes intuitive Workflows, Forms, and Dashboards that enable Administrators to efficiently configure Registered Accounts and Groups and maximize seamless engagement for End-Users.
Administrators can navigate to the Account Registration Dashboard to view a complete list of active registered accounts, and other essential information, like a Registration Period's expiration date.
The Account Creation Form prompts End-Users to create a username and password, and existing users are directed to enter their sign-in information. End-Users also have the option to create an account by clicking a URL. Existing users who click the generated URL are automatically added to the appropriate group and directed to a form that retrieves their account information.
Key Features:
- Workflows that establish Period/Event Creation
- Built-in notification emails with generated URLs that trigger the Account Creation Form
- Dashboard with responsive view of periods, users, and groups
Considerations
Ensure the Session ID field in the URL Generation Flow matches the Account Registration Named Session of your environment. Users can set this up in the project by navigating to:
- Account Registration Project Folder > Flows > URL Generation Flow.
- Navigate to the Properties panel and select Session ID.
- Change the Session ID if necessary.
Main Flows
Account Registration Startup Flow
This Flow initiates Period or Event creation after retrieving user and group account information from the Startup form, generating a URL for the process Flow that is sent to users by email.
Account Registration Process Flow
This Flow ensures created events are current, enables registered users to create accounts if necessary, and adds them to groups formulated from the Startup Flow. Existing users are automatically added to the appropriate group and prompted to enter their credentials on the login screen.
Main Forms
Account Registration Startup Form
This form collects a list of users and groups that need to be associated with a created event and includes a calendar to select an expiration date.
Account Creation Form
The Account Creation Form allows End-Users to easily create a new account after choosing a username and password. Existing users can log in with their credentials by clicking Already Have an Account at the bottom of the Form.
Account Registration Dashboard
The Account Registration Dashboard provides access to various built-in Reports. This Dashboard displays three separate pages with information about Registration Periods, Supplied Accounts, and Supplied Groups. Administrators can also select the Register Accounts button to generate the Account Creation Form.
Using the Account Registration Accelerator in Decisions
The below example demonstrates an Account Registration Dashboard with a Registration Period created from the Account Registration Process Flow, initiated by the Register Accounts button at the top of the Dashboard. After creating a Registration Period, this Dashboard will populate with information from various pre-built Reports.
The below Registration Period's Registered Emails are displayed on the right-hand side of the Dashboard within the Supplied Accounts Report, and below this Report is the corresponding Registered Group(s) for this Period displayed in the Supplied Groups Report.
Administrators who create a Registration Period can navigate to this Dashboard at any time to reference information within each Report and track whether End-Users have created an account.
