Default Designer templates provide a base design for building an entity. An Administrator can set defaults in the Designer Settings. By default, each "base" option is selected as the default; the base templates are basically blank templates. Changes to a template are not retroactive, meaning that entities that were created based on the template will not be affected by an update. Only entities created after the template update will reflect the change. The base entities are stored under System > Shared Designer Elements > System Defaults. These entities can be customized to meet design needs.
To establish the default design templates, navigate to System > Settings. Open Designer Studio Settings.
Under Designer Studio Settings, set the template options to the templates desired as default.
Click OK to save.
