Version 7 uses .NET Core in place of .NET Framework.
  • ALL custom libraries will need to be recompiled for .NET Core
  • Custom assemblies will need to be re-written

IMPORTANT
  • Keep timely back-ups of the database(s), Keys.dat file, and File Storage.
  • It will be necessary to "uninstall" older versions ahead of installing v7 due to the change in .NET library architecture.
  • Running v7.0 and v6.x with the same database is NOT supported.
  • Upon upgrading to v7.0, downgrading back to v6.x is NOT supported.
  • Projects using XML/XSD data structures may lose their Flow mappings, and may need to be re-mapped again when upgrading from v6 to v7.
  • V7 Dev and Prod environments can only connect to a v7 Repository server
  • Custom Less Files are not support in V7
  • V6 less files are note supported for V7 use

Not Supported in the Beta:

  • Multi Tenant
  • Agent
  • Built-in Windows Authentication
  • Custom Login Pages
  • Restarting Services from the System Folder
  • WCF and Web Service Integrations
  • Sharepoint versions prior to "Online"

NOTE: Internet Explorer (IE) is NOT supported in v7

Recommended Install

Use the "Self Hosted" installation option for the simplest configuration of the 7.0 beta.
