Reports display collected data from a specified Data Source. They can also be configured to allow an end user to make changes to the Report data by editing a cell on the Report.
Example
- Create a Report.
- In the Report Designer, add a Data Source and any desired Data Fields.
- Select a Data Field. On the Properties panel under SETTINGS, select the checkbox next to Can Edit.
- Click any area above the Report to deselect the Data Field and access the Report Designer Properties.
- On the Properties panel under the GRID VIEW category, select the Editable option checkbox.
- Click Save to save changes to the Report. Double-clicking a cell will allow a user to edit the value of that cell.
Below is how an editable Report on a Page behaves to an end user.
