Email Template Generator

The Email Template Generator allows users to generate a customized Email Template based on the properties they choose during the process. This is useful for sending emails with the desired Email Template through the Decisions platform.

Prerequisites

• To Install “Email Template Generator,” open My Apps and in the Applications category look for “Email Template Generator.”
• Install “Error Handling” From the App Store by navigating to My Apps > Error Handling.
• The default logo can be uploaded on the Email Template Generator > Designer Elements > Forms as the document format.
• When saved to the server, the Email Template created will be named whatever the user entered on the first form of the process.
  • This Email Template can be renamed in the Systems > Designers > Email Template using a right-click action on the respective Email Template.
• Any created Email Template will need to be selected on the Email step (in the Steps Library) after saving/downloading the template.
  • Remember to add your used Email Template to a project if you’d like to export it.

Run Email Template Generator

This Flow is designed to generate Email Templates with ease. It includes various features such as Title Bar Styling, Footer Styling, Logo, Redirect URL, and Links added in a Form to allow users to select the respective properties for their Email Template. Additionally, it offers a Preview Form that displays a real-time preview of the generated Email Template to assist users in making necessary adjustments. The Flow automatically updates the Email Template file that comes along with the Project, ensuring that the most recent styles are always included. Furthermore, it allows users to save or create the generated file on the server, providing an efficient way to manage and maintain their Email Templates.

Generate Email Template Logic

This Flow represents the primary logic. It captures styles, URLs, and links and incorporates them into a string, which is subsequently converted into a file format. Additionally, it performs checks for the presence of log URLs and Footer links. If these elements are absent, the template will be generated without them.

Send Email

This Flow is used as a sub-dialog Flow on the “Preview Email Template Form,” which helps in sending test emails with the customized Email Template

Main Form

The “Customize Email Template Form” is a Form that helps in customizing the Email Template with the Title Bar Styling, Footer Styling, Adding URLs and Links.
