Article summary

Overview 

After discovering variants in a process, the Inspect Variants tab in the Variant Explorer populates with data about every variant found in the log.

Users may refer to the Inspect Variants Tab to view variant popularity at a glance and/or to pinpoint what cases tended to contain variants as well as when and where a particular variant occurs in the execution.


The following screenshot and table describe the sections of the Inspect Variants tab and its functions.

1Single Selection/Multi SelectionThis setting can be toggled to enable single or multi-selection. 
2Filter LogThis button opens the Filter Log. From here, Users can add and remove filters. 
3Variants Selected/Cases SelectedThis setting displays a count of cases selected and a count of activity executions selected. 
4Variant Popularity TableThis table displays a list of variants in the log. 
5Variant Case TableThis table displays a list of cases in the selected variants. 
6Process Map and Data This button displays a Process Map of the selected variant or case once expanded. Once the Process Map has been expanded, the Variant Tables will shrink in size, but Users may still select a new variant/case in the Process Map.
