Article summary

Overview

The Process View Page is available when looking at the contents of a Process Folder. States can be implemented into workflow logic so that each checkpoint in the overall process will be saved in the Process Folder. Processes typically involve some sort of assignment, whether for a review or approval. Assignments can be configured with an Action Name, which means the assignee must perform the action before the data can continue in the process. These actions will appear in the Process View Page as well. The other utilities this Page provides are a "process complete" percentage, a time display of how long the process data has existed, documents, file attachments, and comments applied.

Exploring the Process View Page

The manually-created root folder or the Process Folder contains flow-generated process folders.

  1. Open a Process Folder that contains the process data.
  2. Select a line item of process data to open the Process View Page.

  3. Inside the Process Folder, the status in the top right shows that this process has existed for 40 days and is in the Started state.
  4. The Process History and Collaboration section show each state of the process (if applicable) along with useful information about each phase of the process. This is where comments and attachments from other users are available as well.the-process-view.jpg
