Overview
Reports that are registered in the Workflow Catalog can be retrieved by users outside of the Portal but can still be controlled with the same access rules and permissions. The following tutorial will navigate the user through adding a Report to the Workflow Catalog.
The following example will add an existing Report to the Workflow Catalog. Please navigate to the Create a Report article for more information on creating a Report.
Example
- To begin, navigate to System > Applications > Workflow Catalog > General folder.
- Inside the General folder, navigate to All > Add Catalog Item > Add Report.
- In the Add Report Workflow Catalog Item window, enter the Report's name in the Name field.
- Under Report Item Information > Select Report, click Pick to select the Report to be retrieved as a service. Click ADD once complete.
- Back in the General category of the Workflow Catalog, click the newly added Report service to launch it.
- The Report will be retrieved and displayed in the resulting window.
