Create Remote SFTP Directory

Overview

Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) is a secure method of transferring files across a network. Decisions has the ability to create a remote SFTP directory. This directory can be used to upload and download files through Decisions.

Example:

This example will show how to use the Create Remote SFTP Directory step.

First, open Decisions and Create a Flow. This will bring you to the Flow Designer.

Next, click on the Steps panel on the right side of the screen.

Scroll down to Integrations.

Click on the arrow and find SFTP on the list. Click on the arrow to open the steps for SFTP.

Find the Create Remote SFTP Directory step.

Connect the Start and End steps to the Create Directory step.

Click on the Create Remote SFTP Directory step. On the right, the properties panel for this step will appear. The Settings Tab allows the user to toggle if they want to Show Certifications for a user or Show the password when accessing the directory.

The SFTP panel is where the user will input the Server information, including Host name and the port it is hosted on. A username and password will need to be provided to access the server.

The inputs panel of the properties tab allows the user to give the directory a name.
