Available In Decisions 6.10

The Unit Test Dashboard on the designer folder is only available for decisions 6.10 and above. If you want to utilize this feature, upgrade to decisions 6.10 or the latest innovation version.

The Unit Tests are accessed through a dashboard on any Designer Project called Unit Test Results. The dashboard contains all the Unit Tests for any Designer elements within that Folder. The data will be grouped by the Designer element and then subgrouped by the Unit Tests. The advantage of viewing Unit Tests through this avenue is that all Unit Tests for a particular Designer Project can be maintained from one location. A user will not need to navigate to each individual designer element to edit their Unit Tests.

Page Actions

The top of the dashboard displays the ways a user can run their Unit Tests:

Run For Current Folder: Runs all the unit tests in the current Designer Project.

Run For Current Folder & Sub-Folders: Runs all units in the current Designer Project and any Unit Tests in Designer Sub-Folders.

Additionally, right-clicking an item in the Report expands a menu containing the following actions:

Edit Unit Test

Allows the user to edit an existing Unit Test.

Copy

Makes a Copy of an existing Unit Test.

Run All Tests For Flow

Will run every Unit Tests only on the selected Flow.

Run Test

Runs a single unit tests that the user selects.

Delete Unit Test

Deletes a Unit Test.
