Overview

This document demonstrates how to set up a Database Integration by using an Agent. In order to Integrate a Database using an Agent, first create an Agent along with the data source, initial catalog, user ID and Password values for the Database Connection

Example

To proceed with the example, an Agent must be installed and registered.
  1. From the Decisions Studio navigate to System > Integrations.
  2. Right-click the Databases Folder and select Create Connection.
  3. From the Database Integration screen, provide a Connection Name, leave the Database Type select as MSSQL, then toggle Use Agent.
  4. Select the Registered Agent from the dropdown menu.
  5. Under MICROSOFT SQL SERVER, provide the Server Name and Database Name for the Integration, click TEST, and then OK.
  6. After installing an Agent and establishing a Database Connection, navigate to and open Services on the File System
  7. Locate the Decisions Agent Service; right-click it and select Properties to view properties and adjust the login information if desired.
The configuration file for the Agent can be found at C:\\Program Files\(86)\Decisions Agent
