# Hide Control

The Hide Control step selectively hides a specific Form Control. Developers can dynamically control the visibility of a control based on specific conditions. This step proves particularly useful when there is a need to hide a displayed control from users based on their interactions, Flow progress, or other business rules. Pair this step with the Show Control step to hide and show controls based on the same criteria.

## Common Errors

### Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

The Form Control Input is not mapped to a Form Control. Evaluate the mapping to this step to correct the problem.
