# Do Conversion

The **Do Conversion** step allows users to convert one currency amount to another.

### Prerequisites

This step requires the [Foreign Exchange module](https://documentation.decisions.com/docs/using-foreign-exchange-components) to be [installed](https://documentation.decisions.com/docs/installing-modules-decisions) before it will be available in the toolbox.

Users on v9 will need to create a [Project dependency](https://documentation.decisions.com/docs/project-dependencies)[](https://documentation.decisions.com/docs/project-dependencies).
