# Create Asset Report

The **Create Asset Report** step initiates creating an Asset Report, which can then be retrieved by passing the asset_report_token return value to the /asset_report/get or /asset_report/pdf/get endpoints.

### Prerequisites

This step requires the [Plaid module](https://documentation.decisions.com/docs/plaid) to be [installed](https://documentation.decisions.com/docs/installing-modules-decisions) before it will be available in the toolbox.

A [Project Dependency](https://documentation.decisions.com/docs/project-dependencies) is required for users on v9.
