The following Example Lab demonstrates how to configure a Child Report to update and open in a separate browser tab, based upon Row selection made on a Parent Report


Explanation

The Example Lab below contains a Parent Page and Report that displays the "First Name" Data Field of its Data Source; a Folder Entity called "Person". Selecting a value on the Report, opens its subsequent Child Report that has been configured (via a Filter using the Get Values From Other Reports Runtime Behavior on the Child Report)to display the remaining Data Fields of the Folder Entity ("Last Name" and "Age" respectively.).

This action is achieved through the use of a User Action Flow that utilizes an End Form Session step that has been configured to open the URL of the Child Page. In order for this step to properly work, the URL field must be configured with the proper Base Portal URL and location of the Child Page,
