This step validates that the model is ready for publication and promotes the current configuration to production so it can be used by downstream processes and applications. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/6ef8bcc1-6489-4486-9ad1-83acff7e5df0/Images/Documentation/Selección_029.png) #### Review Activation Readiness Before publishing, review the **Activation Readiness** checklist. The checklist verifies that all required configuration steps have been completed, including: - **Draft Saved**: The current workspace configuration has been saved. - **Fields Defined**: Extraction fields have been configured. - **Extraction Ran**: A successful extraction has been performed. - **Output Mapping Configured**: Extracted fields have been mapped to output fields. - **No Blocking Review Rules**: No rule configurations are preventing publication. - **Test Run Is Current**: A test run has been completed using the latest configuration. All readiness checks must pass before activation can proceed. #### Review Activation Details The **Activation** panel provides information about the model being published, including: - **Activation Status**: Indicates whether the model is ready for publication. - **Model Name**: The name of the model being activated. - **Current Blocker**: Any issue preventing activation. - **Draft ID**: The unique identifier of the draft configuration. If a blocker is displayed, resolve the issue before proceeding. #### Publish the Model 1. Confirm that all readiness checks show a successful status. 2. Click **Start Activation**. During activation, the system performs the following promotion steps: 1. **Validate Readiness**: Verifies that all required checks have passed. 2. **Build Configuration Snapshot**: Creates a versioned snapshot of the field catalog, output mappings, and configured rules. 3. **Promote to Production**: Publishes the model and makes it available for use. #### Refresh Activation Status If changes were recently made or activation requirements have changed: 1. Click **Refresh Status**. 2. Review any updated readiness checks or blocking issues. #### Complete the Process After a successful activation: 1. Verify that the activation status indicates completion. 2. Click **Finish** to exit the workspace. > [!NOTE] > **Tip:** Perform a final review of the test run results before activating the model. Once published, the production version will use the current extraction fields, mappings, labels, and review rules defined in the workspace. ### What Happens During Activation When a model is activated, the system creates a publishable snapshot of the current configuration, including: - Extraction fields and definitions. - Output structure and field mappings. - Display labels. - Review rules and validation settings. - Tested extraction configuration. After activation completes successfully, the model becomes available for production use and can be selected by downstream applications and integrations. This published configuration serves as the active version of the model.
