Overview

A Tag Report lists all of the Tags used in the Portal. This Report can be used to identify redundant Tags, establish naming conventions, or ensure that Tags exist for all the desired Tags to be applied to. The following example demonstrates how to create a Report that will list all the current tags in the Portal.


Example

  1. In a Designer Folder, select CREATE REPORT from the bottom action panel, select and name the default Report. Then, click CREATE.
  2. In the Report Designer, under Data Sources, click Add, then select Common > Tag Data Source
  3. Under Data Fields, Add Id, Tag, and Short Type Name
  4. In the Report Designer, click Run Report in the top bar.
  5. The Tag Report will now open in a separate window; this Report will display all the Tags present in the System as well as information contained in the selected Data Fields. Alternatively, the Report can also be viewed via a Report Viewer component on a Page or Dashboard.
