# Show Interaction Effect

## Overview

| Feature Details |
| --- |
| **Introduced in Version** | 9.18 |
| **Modified in Version** | --- |

The Show Interaction Effect setting enables various buttons to display a small, animated visual effect when clicked, such as the new confetti burst. This feature adds a layer of delight, feedback, and visibility to user actions, making clicks feel more responsive and dynamic.

While primarily used for fun or celebratory moments (e.g., completing a form, submitting a request, triggering a positive workflow), interaction effects also improve UX clarity by confirming that a button was successfully pressed. Even small visual cues can reduce double-click attempts, uncertainty, and user hesitation.

## Use Case

| Example Use Cases | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Celebrate Successful Submission | Use the confetti effect when a user submits a form or completes a multi-step process to reinforce accomplishment and create a memorable moment. |
| Highlight a Special Action | When a button represents something important (e.g., “Send Request,” “Approve,” “Generate Report”), an interaction effect can draw attention and confirm the click. |
| Training & Demo Environments | Enable the effect during product demos or onboarding to make the interface feel lively and engaging, especially helpful for showing off new features. |
| Gamified Internal Apps | Add flair to reward actions, achievements, or progress steps within gamified employee workflows or portal interactions. |

## Example

1. Drag a Button onto a Form.
2. Select the button, and expand Behavior within the Properties panel.
3. Enable Show Interaction Effect.
  1. Adjust Colors to match your theme or event. *Leave blank to use default colors.
  2. Set Play Count (e.g., 3 for multiple bursts).
  3. Set Fade Speed for desired animation timing.
  4. Set Particles (e.g., 500 for high-impact confetti).

| Setting | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Colors | Customize the effect palette using predefined or custom colors. Branding, holiday themes, or team colors can all be applied. |
| Play Count | The number of times the effect triggers per click. Useful for “triple burst,” repeating pulses, or multi-stage effects. |
| Interval (ms) | Visible only when Play Count > 1. Sets the delay (in milliseconds) between each effect burst. A lower interval triggers bursts quickly, while a higher interval spaces them out for a staggered sequence. |
| Fade Speed | Controls how quickly the effect disappears. Lower = longer-lasting lingering particles. |
| Particles | Total number of confetti (or effect units). Higher numbers create big celebrations; lower values create subtle accent effects. |
