# Resetting Report Viewer Settings

## Overview

When viewing a [Report](/v9/docs/reports), users can group and filter based on specific values. These changes made to a Report are not saved, and the Report will return to its default configuration if the page is refreshed. However, Reports can be reset without the need to refresh.

## Clearing the Sorting of all the columns on a Report

To clear all the Sorting on all the columns of a report,

1. Click on the Report Actions
2. Click on the "Clear All Sorts" icon on the action menu.
3. Any Sorting applied to the report will get cleared for the user.

**Note:**This will clear both user-applied and design-time sorting on all columns.
