# Generate Statement Rule With AI

### Overview

This document explains how to use the Generate Statement Rule with AI functionality inside the platform. This feature allows users to generate a [Statement Rule](/v9/docs/creating-statement-rules) with an AI Assisted Chat experience.

Disclaimer: AI Features Can Make MistakesWhen generating a designer item, please be aware that LLMs/AI make mistakes and can experience issues. Users should understand that all items generated need to be reviewed and tested before being used in production.

## Can/Cannot

Each of the AI features have capabilities that they can do and capabilities that they cannot do. As these features get continue to improve, the list below will change. As of v9.16 this is what the feature can and cannot do:

#### Can

- Add  and/or statements to the Rule
- Add Inputs to the Rule
- Add Outputs to the Rule

#### Cannot

- Use Converter Flows
- Use Formulas
- Ability to use composite structures, custom types, or file types
- Statement Rules cannot be iterated

## Generate From AI

To use this feature, initiate the creation of a Statement Rule. A button called "Create With AI" will be available. Once clicked, a chat window will appear where the users can request the Statement Rule to be created.

Once a request has been made, the AI will ask any follow-up questions it may have, and if not, it will provide a button titled "Generate". This button will create the Statement Rule given the specific requirements discussed in the chat experience.
