Overview
Creating a favorite action is useful when the action is used consistently. The name is displayed in bold when an action is made a favorite. The action also appears at the first level in the Actions menu. The action naming is contextual to the type of entity. For example, if the user customizes the "Edit Flow" action name, it will be reflected only on Flows. Users can make the customization exclusively available for the current user session, current user, or for all users of the Portal.
Example
In this example, the Set Name and Description menu option will be made a favorite and renamed to Rename Flow.
- In the Designer Project, right-click on a Flow. Select Edit and click the star icon on the desired action.
- In the OverrideName field, change the name for the action and determine the Type for the action. The Type determines who sees the action as a favorite. For All Users sets this for everyone on the platform, For Me shows the action as a favorite only for the user making the selection, and Unfavorite removes the action from the favorite state. Once the Type is selected, click ADD FAVORITE.
- When a user right-clicks on the Flow, the new renamed action appears at the top in bold.
