Adding a Timeline to a Series of FormsLast Updated: 03/28/2018 Introduced in Version: 2.0
A timeline is a helpful feature to show on a form when a series of forms need to be filled out by a user. The timeline is a component found in the Form Designer, under the List category.
This example shows the timeline set up for a Travel Request process. The timeline helps inform the user where he/she is in the submission process, and how many forms are left until the process is complete.
From the Forms Designer, under Form Controls, search drag and drop a Timeline component into the workspace in its desired position.
Click on the Timeline component, and from its Properties, type the name for each form in the Steps field.
Enter the name of the current form’s name (i.e. step) into the Current step field.
Save and close the form. Repeat the addition of the Timeline to subsequent forms in the series, updating the Current step field accordingly.
